Welcome to the National Hygiene Partnership

 

Welcome to the National Hygiene Partnership. The National Hygiene Partnership was established in 1995 after the directive 93/43 E.E.C. on food safety standards was published. To implement these two directives the Partnership has developed two strategies. These are encapsulated in our course “The Management of Food Hygiene” and in our booklet “Hygiene Matters”.

The Management of Food Hygiene is designed for personnel with a responsibility for the management of food operations in the food industry. All Course tutors are licenced and approved by the National Hygiene Partnership. The Course meets the requirements of the FSAI Level 3 guidelines in food safety skills for management.

This handbook, available directly from the National Hygiene Partnership, was designed to introduce essential hygiene information to seasonal, part time, occasional, and overseas workers employed in the hospitality, retail, contract catering, and food processing sectors of the Food Industry.
